Continuing Education Correspondence Courses

Randall School keeps track of all courses you take through Randall School, updating your file each time you enroll to avoid unnecessary repetition. Each course listed below is certified by ARELLO and approved for continuing education credit for Nebraska Real Estate Salespersons and Brokers. Be sure you choose at least two "R" (required) course.

Each 3 hour course is $35.00.  Save when you enroll and pay for four courses (12 hours) for $125.00 or six courses (18 hours) for $185.00.  $5.00 postage and handling will be added to each order.

#0366R – AGENCY IN NEBRASKA – 3 hours
Includes a brief discussion of agency and a detailed outline of Nebraska’s Agency Relationships Law in layman’s terms. The course concludes with examples of practical solutions to everyday agency questions.


#0415 – DIVERSITY and DOING BUSINESS – 3 hours
Sharpen your awareness of cultural differences that real estate licensees may encounter when working with consumers. Decision-making styles, cultural conditioning, and attitudes toward negotiating are some of the topics discussed.


#0425R – ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES IN YOUR REAL ESTATE PRACTICE – 3 hours
This course provides an overview of indoor and outdoor environmental issues that are important in today’s real estate market. Topics include lead-based paint, mold, drinking water, wetlands, underground storage tanks and construction issues.


#0282R – FAIR HOUSING – 3 hours
This course explains the provisions of the Fair Housing Act and 1988 Amendment Act. Advertising guidelines and enforcement procedures are discussed and current case law is explored.


#0481 – INTRODUCTION TO COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE SALES – 3 hours
This course gives an overview of commercial real estate, followed by practical information on the financial anatomy of a real estate investment, establishing market value and return, and listing and marketing investment property.


#0069 – LEASING & MANAGING APARTMENTS – 3 hours
This course gives an overview of the lease agreement and summaries of the Landlord/Tenant and Fair Housing Acts. A step by step explanation of the apartment rental process follows, including tenant selection policies and ongoing resident services.


#0029 – PROPERTY MANAGEMENT AND MANAGING RISK – 3 hours
This course presents risk reduction techniques for the owner and the manager in its discussion of the manager-owner relationship, the management plan, leases and tenant issues, managing residential properties, and tenant safety issues.


#0604R – NEBRASKA LICENSE LAW & AGENCY OVERVIEW – 3 hours
This course serves as a "refresher" on License Law, the Rules and Regulations, and Agency Relationships, answering questions the licensee might encounter on a daily basis. Special emphasis is placed on those sections that have changed recently.


#0337 – REAL ESTATE FINANCE TODAY – 3 hours
This overview of real estate finance provides a review of the basics, a discussion of government influences on financing, and sections on current trends in mortgage lending, conventional, insured and guaranteed loans, and special financing alternatives.


#0280 – RED FLAGS – PROPERTY INSPECTION GUIDE – 3 hours
This course is intended to give the licensee an overview of common problems (Red Flags) that may arise during a home inspection. Red Flags, as they pertain to the interior and exterior and environmental issues are discussed.


#0349R – RISK MANAGEMENT – 3 hours
This course emphasizes risk reduction techniques the licensee can use when confronted with issues involving agency, misrepresentation, the environment, Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Housing, and Antitrust laws.


#0411R – WRITE IT RIGHT! LISTING AND PURCHASE AGREEMENTS – 3 hours
This course gives a line by line explanation of listing and purchase contracts with explanations of why certain provisions are included in the contracts. A sample transaction is used in the discussion.
